OUR FOUNDERS JOURNEY

Mrs colleen Samuel and Dr Vinay Samuel started special needs in the year———. With vision of empowering the children with special needs and a mission to accomplish this. It was not easy. yet through perseverance, they have built a remarkable institution. DIvya Shanthi special needs school focus on holistic development of the children and provide parental training.

Every student is capable of success, and at Divya Shanthi we strive to help each one achieve their potential. We celebrate the exceptional talents and gifts of students with disabilities. Here are the few stories

Benjamin -who is working in a multinational company as assistant chef. Prem kumar – employed at 3-star hotel, suma: completed her degree, Amdha: completed diploma in hotel management, john: is working as peon in one of the school. Many of our students have benefited from our special education programs and have been successfully integrated into mainstream education.

Celebrating achievements and milestone

Here in our school we celebrate each special need child and each mile stone achievements. together we work for the development of the child. our students learn skills such as baking, gardening soap making, greeting cards making and candle making along with academic skills. These skills foster independence, help manage behaviour and tantrums and improves self-esteem and social interaction.
